Key info

Game system
We run Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, in a homebrew setting created by our founder, Scott. Find out more about the world of 'Palodar' in 'The setting' section of this site.
Venue sessions
We host our events in local pubs throughout Sydney - starting at 6.30pm and running until around 10.00 - 10.30pm. Food and beverage is available, with discounts available depending on your pass type.
Registration
Register for your preferred venue through this website. Payment is preferred, however, you can pay at the door for the session. You can register for the whole season, or for a single session (you can also purchase a double ticket - for two players).
Passes and payment
Price per session is from $20, or from $300 for a season pass - depending on the venue. You can get a season pass for the cost of remaining sessions, if you join part-way through the season.
Attendance
We encourage players to attend all sessions throughout the season. Your character will receive XP for each session attended, unless you have purchased a season pass, in which case your character will progress, even if you can’t make it.

There is a limit on level differences, so that players attending on a casual basis can still play at similar levels to full timers.
Player characters
Characters can be created within the D&D 5e ruleset - with additional options available from our homebrew world. Plus, exclusive content for patrons supporting Awakened Fables on Patreon.

Campaign story
Each venue has a campaign story arc for the season, set in separate parts of the world. Player characters may not transfer between venues and campaign arcs.
